This job completed in the spring of 2010 required 22 posts and over 600 feet of aluminum. We also added custom rubber pads (see picture) on the bottoms of each post to ensure the safety of everyone around the canopy area.

This customer asked for custom stripes and a non-traditional, powder coated frame with a valance and NO fabric covering the valance, at first I thought “why would they want to do this?”… But, the result was something very eye catching and quite unique

The owner of this shopping center chose to do a slightly different version of a standard “awning”, these awnings are made just like our fabric awnings except the outside structure (or cover) is a standing seam panel rather than a cloth or vinyl application. Sure, they paid more initially; but the warranty on these structures is often 20-25 years versus the 8-10 year warranty on most standard and specialty fabrics.

It was important for this client to get all they could out of the space they had, including the patio area. With the awning being custom fabricated to withstand all year weather conditions AND hold fans, heaters, flatscreen television sets, etc. the space is now open for use all year round… they chose to make the most out of the area they had with a patio canopy and our custom Rigid Panels.
